What is a *turnaround* ?
It is a short chord progression—typically two or four bars—
that brings a section of the song back to the start
or transitions to the the next section
We use turnarounds mostly at the end of a verse, chorus, vamp or phrase,
and it creates a sense of movement and anticipation.
